Chelsea have made enquiries about youngsters Nico O Reilly and Mathis Amougou ahead of the deadline tomorrow.

Chelsea want to bring in a midfielder to support Enzo Maresca and have identified these players as targets.

O Reilly, 19, and Amougou, 18 are both talented midfielders. Amougou plays for Saint Ettiene and ranks the 3rd highest in defensive duels won for under 23 players in Europe’s top 5 leagues.

Fabrizio Romano reports that Manchester City do not want to lose O Reilly who has only featured briefly in the league this season.

It remains to be seen if either deal can be done.
