Zouma: I want to learn from Terry

Chelsea signing Kurt Zouma wants to match the success of Blues captain John Terry.

Zouma will join Chelsea in the summer from St Etienne.

“John Terry is an emblematic Chelsea player, a great defender, physical, technical, who scores goals too,” Zouma said.

“An example for me in my position.”

Zouma signed a five-and-a-half-year deal with Chelsea ending a four-year association with Saint-Etienne, having joined as a 15-year-old in 2009.

“I arrive at the Blues, it is a great honour for me. More blue has always been my favourite colour! Before I could wear it on the playstation, but now it’s for real.

“I was really happy, and my parents even more, there really was a lot of emotion. Even my mother burst into tears.”
